Archival Oils Pure Gum Turpentine is a natural distilled solvent from the Pinus Massoniana Tree. It is used for oil painting and used in most painting mediums. Pure gum turpentine is used in oil painting to thin the paints, as a varnish, as an enamel and for cleaning brushes. When using this medium with oil paint it will increase the drying time.
